MANDATORY ACCEPTANCE
By accessing, using, or continuing to use the Family Law A.I. Agent (the "Service"), you acknowledge that you have read, fully understand, and consent to this Privacy Policy, including all data processing, retention, and stewardship practices.
1. DEFINITIONS:
1.1 Service and Company
"Company," "we," "us," or "our" refers to Applied Impact Media, operating the "Dialogue In Divorce" website (www.dialogueindivorce.ca) and the "Family Law A.I. Agent" Service, and all affiliated entities, officers, directors, employees, agents, contractors, and successors.
1.2 User
"User," "you," or "your" refers to any person or entity accessing or using the Service.
1.3 Personal Data
Information that identifies or could reasonably identify an individual, including identity, contact, device, usage, communication, financial, and behavioral data.
2. GOVERNING LEGAL FRAMEWORKS:
All information generated or displayed through this Service is subject to:
• Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA, Canada) – rules for private-sector data collection and use
• Law Society of Manitoba Generative AI Guidelines (2024) – promoting accuracy, transparency, confidentiality, accountability, and stewardship in AI
• Legal Profession Act (Manitoba), C.C.S.M. c. L107 – restricting unauthorized practice of law
3. DATA COLLECTION AND USE:
3.1 Personal Data Collection
We may collect:
• Name, email, phone number, and other identifying information
• Device and usage data, including IP address, browser type, operating system, pages visited, session duration, and referral sources
• Communications and inquiries submitted to the Service
• Financial and transaction data where applicable
• Behavioral data, including interaction patterns and preferences
3.2 Automated Collection
Cookies, web beacons, local storage, and analytics tools may track:
• Session behavior, engagement metrics, and click patterns
• System performance and diagnostic data
• Security events, login attempts, and potential threats
3.3 AI Interaction Data
AI-generated responses, queries, and usage patterns may be logged to:

7. CHILDREN’S PRIVACY:
• Service is not intended for individuals under 18
• No knowingly collected data from children; prompt deletion occurs if discovered
8. THIRD-PARTY LINKS:
• The Service may link to third-party sites
• Company is not responsible for third-party privacy practices or content
9. LIABILITY LIMITATIONS:
• The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranty. Users assume all risk associated with AI interactions and data submission.
• IN NO EVENT SHALL THE TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY OF THE COMPANY RELATED TO PRIVACY OR DATA STEWARDSHIP EXCEED THE LESSER OF: (A) $100 CAD, OR (B) THE AMOUNT PAID BY USER FOR THE SERVICE IN THE PRECEDING 12 MONTHS.

10. AI STEWARDSHIP:
• AI follows Law Society of Manitoba guidelines for accuracy, transparency, confidentiality, accountability, and stewardship
• Use does not create attorney-client relationships
• Users must independently verify information and seek professional legal advice as needed
11. POLICY UPDATES:
• This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically
• Changes take effect upon posting; significant updates may be communicated via the website or email
• Continued use constitutes acceptance of updates
12. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION:
• Manitoba law governs this Privacy Policy.
• Any privacy-related disputes must be resolved through the mandatory binding arbitration procedures detailed in our main Terms of Service.
